Today was pretty chilled until I started making my homemade hot sauce! I started by roasting the chillies and garlic in the oven until they bagan to brown (about 15 minutes), I then removed the stalks and added the rest of the ingredients to a pan where I simmered them for 15 minutes.
Ingredients
Dave’s home grown chillies – 200g
Scotch Bonnet chilies – 250g
Brown sugar – 60g
Salt – 50 g
Garlic – 30g
Colmuns Mustard Powder – 20g
Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
Cumin – 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon
Paprika – 1/2 teaspoon
Cornflour – 1 desert spoons
Malt Vinegar – 500ml
